Texas has 60% chance of hurricane-like activity in 2010

The Weather Research Center in Houston is predicting a 60 percent chance of a tropical storm or hurricane landfall along the coast of Texas during the upcoming 2010 hurricane season. The organization is forecasting the west coast of Florida to have the most chance — 90 percent — of activity, with Mexico and eastern Florida following with a 70 percent chance each.
